Juan A. Rosario-Collazo, MD
Dr. Rosario began his education with a pre-med major at the University of the Sacred Heart and then attended the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where he received an academic distinction award. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Damas Hospital and residencies in Damas Hospital and the National Capital Consortium in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Rosario was active duty in the military from 1996 until 2006 and served as a Commander in the United States Navy, where he was the department head of both Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
Dr. Rosario received multiple commendations and Military awards during his years of service, including Army, Navy Commendation Medals, and a Humanitarian Service Medal. Dr. Rosario is listed in Who’s Who Among Medical Professionals and was the President of the Jacksonville Dermatology Society in 2009.
Dr. Rosario is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery. He is Board Certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Jacksonville Dermatology Society and the Duval County Medical Society.
Dr. Rosario enjoys water sports and spending time with his family.
Ashley East, PA– C
A Georgia native, Ashley majored in psychology at Mercer University and graduated magna cum laude. She then obtained a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
Ashley’s special areas of expertise include treatment for acne, warts, molluscum and skin rashes. She also performs skin checks, biopsies, laser surgery, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and Botox injections.
Ashley is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She moved to Jacksonville after graduation and has practiced with First Coast Dermatology for over five years.
Besides spending time with her husband and 2 children, Ashley enjoys taking zumba and yoga classes.
Erin Harris, PA– C
Erin graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She then earned her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. She served as the student state representative for the American Academy of Physician Assistants and was the Tennessee Physician Assistant Foundation scholarship recipient in 2002.
Erin moved to Jacksonville in 2004 and worked in family practice for several years with a special interest in dermatology. Erin is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Erin’s areas of expertise include treatment of acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. She also performs biopsies, skin cancer screenings, and laser surgery.
In Erin’s spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two young children, and golden retriever. She also enjoys running, photography, and cooking.
